What exactly is a Golden Ticket? With a Golden Ticket you will get an amazing culinary experience, a beautiful food film in the same theme and you support the Food Film Festival to realize the FFF pop-up Restaurant at Westergasfabriek. From now until March 13, every thursday at 12.00 PM we sell Golden Tickets. The first Golden Tickets we sell are very special ones, for the Pourcel-lunch on Sunday May 11.
Joris Bijdendijk (FFF chef and currently working at Bridges Restaurant) and Samuel Levie (culinary conscience of FFF) invited the brothers Pourcel to come to Amsterdam for the Food Film Festival. Jacques and Laurent Pourcel own a Michelinstar restaurant Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier, France. Also they were the ones that hired Joris Bijdendijk a couple of years ago, when he was still a young, very eager to learn, chef. In no time Joris became sous chef at the French restaurant in Montpellier. Together with his original culinary teachers, Joris will prepare a magnificent lunch on sunday May 11 at the Food Film Festival. Also Alain Caron (Masterchef Holland) is invited as a special guest.
But that's not all. The Golden Tickets for the Pourcel-lunch include not only a lunch, but also two beautiful films! In the first film L'Universelle des Pourcel we see how these brothers conquer the world with their very own, unique mediterranean cooking style. After the film the chefs will be at the theatre to answer all your questions during a Q+A. Then we have a second film we would love to show you. In Inside the Best Restaurant in the World: El Celler de Can Roca we meet the Roca Brothers. These three Catalan brothers managed to cook even better than the chefs at the world-famous Noma Restaurant and are currently the owners of the best restaurant of the world 'El Celler de Can Roca'.
