The Food Film Festival is a three day festival all about food; lots of movies, workshops, events and parties! This year the fourth edition will take place from 9-11 May at the Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam. As a volunteer you can participate in the festival. Volunteers are an important part of the festival, you’ll work together with like minded people and we guarantee you’ll meet lots new people. We can use your help in different jobs both during as before the festival. Do you want to participate? Register now as a volunteer!

If you want to be a volunteer during this years festival have a look below at  which job suits you best. You can register via our online form. For most of the jobs we require that you work 3 shifts of 6 hours each during the three days of the festival. Note that for ‘Kitchen - Mise-en-place’ and ‘Runner’ you’ll need to be available in the week before the festival.

Non-European citizens also need to provide a valid working permit for the Netherlands (a student visa is not a working permit). When your registration is complete you can expect a reaction as soon as possible. For questions or comments you can also send an e-mail to the address above. 

Besides an incredibly fun weekend with like minded people and good atmosphere, we have more to offer. You can enter the festival freely and take part in all different parts of the program outside of your shift. 

We are looking for people to fill the following positions:

 

The mise-en-place team will prepare the food for the restaurant from Monday 5 till Thursday 8 of May. This is a unique chance to work in restaurant Bridges of the Michelin star awarded chef Joris Bijdendijk. You don’t mind working long days in the kitchen. As much as we like home cooks, we are only looking for people with experience in a restaurant kitchen. 

Requirements: available minimum of  2 days before the festival and kitchen experience (please provide a resume).

 

In the preparation of the festival a lot of venues have to be build: decors, the restaurant and the market. At sunday evening everything has to be taken down. We need a lot of hard workers to do this! Note: everyone who helps with this ‘afbouw’ on Sunday is invited for our exclusive FFF-team closing party. 

Requirements: large availability (at least Thursday 8, Friday 9 and Sunday 11 May) and no fear to get your hands dirty.
