After the legendary night last year, we had to bring back the Schuurfeest (Barn Party)! On Saturday, Steven de Peven, DJ Zender and others will rock the party at SK/2. In SK/3 join us at the Soepermarkt with Cirque Valentin, Hamertje Tik, Sjef Rolet and Umoja. Downstairs in the restaurant at Ome Ad serveert: De Keukenprins, expect crazy tunes and tasty flavours. In short, a delectable mix of live acts and DJs, soul, disco, funk, house, circus and Afro.

	Cirque Valentin \| Soepermarkt \| Rabozaal (SK/3) Cirque Valentin is living proof that influences from The Muppets, The Roots and Michael Jackson can successfully be combined in one band and served to the public in a raw, bombastic, mind-blowing show.
	Hamertje Tik \| Soepermarkt \| Rabozaal (SK/3) Hamertje Tik is the alter ego of 24-year-old beat producer and drummer Joris Feiertag, whose music is danceable, soulful electronica. He brings a fresh contemporary sound consisting of a mix of 2-step, broken beats, deep synths and catchy vocal lines. The dazzling visuals from VJ VeeMee complete the show.
	Sjef Rolet \| Soepermarkt \| Rabozaal (SK/3) Sjef's passion for music is infectious. Influenced by funk, disco, jazz and Afro-Latin sounds, his DJ sets bridge the divide between the earthly and the sublime. Open your ears, open your mind and limber up for a long night!
	Umoja \| Soepermarkt \|Rabozaal (SK/3) This DJ/producer duo's motto is 'Embracing the power of Sunshine' - which is exactly what they do! Their debut EP Je-Ka-Lo is a fresh combination of samples from Africa and contemporary beats. Umoja is currently working on new material: tropical, global sounds perfect for listening and dancing. 	Steven de Peven \| Schuurfeest \| SK/2 Steven de Peven's musical CV is long and illustrious. He is a member of the DJ collective RedNose Distrikt (with Aardvarck), he produces and spins under the name Awanto 3 & Alfabet (with Tom Trago) and collaborates regularly with San Proper, Overlast and Dexter. There's never a dull moment with Steven at the decks.
	DJ Zender \| Schuurfeest \| SK/2 Zender is not only a fine DJ but also a designer, illustrator and welcome guest at the Food Film Festival. Combining art and music is where he excels. His parties are characterised by gruesome flyers, corny concepts, dope artists and funky DJs. He returns to the Food Film Festival this year for the Schuurfeest.
	Polly Esther \| Schuurfeest \| SK/2 Polly Esther can more often be found behind the decks in Beirut than Amsterdam. She brings groove, soul and sex to the dance floor... Disco with bite! Polly Esther and Richard Kahwagi will play back to back.
	Richard Kahwagi (LEB) \| Schuurfeest \| SK/2 Richard Kahwagi is famous and infamous in Beirut, London, Amsterdam (Paradiso) and Italy. He has shared the stage with big names such as The Magician, Mighty Mouse, Prins Thomas and Lindstrom. At the Schuurfeest, he and Polly Esther will serve up an unforgettable night!
	Ome Ad serveert: De Keukenprins \| Restaurant Ome Ad serveert: De Keukenprins is a mix of music, food and fun. Expect crazy tunes and tasty flavours with Harry Foolish, Mechanische Turk, Nicks and Ome Ad. Think: a tapenade contest, a DJ food quiz and, if that weren't enough, 'Poetry for Dinner'.
