The Food Film Festival Restaurant opens this Friday and the menu created by chefs Joris Bijdendijk and Samuel Levie has just been announced. It is full of tasty dishes: from fish to goat, lots of vegetables and even a vegan option.
What is the tastiest food scene or best food film of all time? In this weekly blog series, we ask a well-known person from the food or film world that question. This week we talk to Joris Bijdendijk, executive chef at Restaurant Bridges and once again head chef at our festival.
Have you always wanted to talk to a director, cameraman or protagonist? Curious about the stories behind a film or documentary? There are more artists than ever at this year's food film Festival.
For the first time this year, the Food Film Festival will also be screening films in Kriterion. But the heart of the festival is still Studio/K. To get from one location to the other, you can make use of the free electric TAXI-Es.
Sound familiar? You were on your feet in the kitchen until the wee hours, let your hair down on the dance floor and were up again at the crack of dawn to serve breakfast. Our chefs do it all without a grumble.
Want to be sure of getting into the FFF? Due to high demand, we have made additional tickets for all films available through the website.
The Food Film Festival is supported by partners who share our vision of building a better food system. Rabobank Amsterdam and Oxfam Novib are once again our principal partners, but new this year is our partnership with Jamie magazine.
With more than 100,000 members in 153 countries, Slow Food has grown into an international organisation and even has its own University of Gastronomic Sciences. Founder Carlo Petrini is a special guest at this year’s FFF.
Only a week and a half to go before the Food Film Festival officially kicks off. Still, we couldn't resist making a few great last-minute additions to the programme. Tickets for these additions are now on sale.
Renske Mijnheer from Sir Moving Images has made our promo videos for the past three years and every year they perfectly fit our theme. For the third edition of the FFF, Renske spent hours cutting and pasting – and the end result is fantastic!
